Loop hike around the lake at Tuscarora State Park

This hike is planned in support of the Keystone Trails Association (KTA) Spring Hiking Weekend in Jim Thorpe. https://www.kta-hike.org/spring-hiking-weekend-2018.html This is a loop hike around the lake at Tuscarora State Park. There are no significant climbs and the trails are well maintained. There are two stream crossings and some areas may be muddy. Please bring 2+liters of water and lunch/snacks and wear sturdy hiking boots. Sunscreen and trekking poles are recommended. Note that the street address is deceptive. On Tuscarora Park Road there will be a very clear sign for Tuscarora State Park at the park entrance, even though it may not be exactly where your GPS takes you. Once you enter the park keep staying straight on the park road to the very end and the parking lot there. Do not follow signs for the Park Office.
