& BACK to BLUE MOUNTAIN SUMMIT RESTAURANT(4 MILES; 1.5-2 MPH)

This hike is a 4 mile "in and out". Although a shorter hike, and including some old logging roads, the trail is also muddy and/or rocky at points so boots are recommended. We will begin at the Blue Mountain Summit Restaurant and hike 2 miles to Fort Franklin/Jacksonville-Snyder Road. After a short snack break we will head back to the restaurant where our cars are parked for a total of 4 miles. We will take our time, walking at a pace of about 1.5 to 2 miles per hour, leaving no one behind. We will meet at 1:00 pm at Blue Mountain Summit Restaurant aiming to be on the trail by 1:15 pm.
