Beginners Trail Maintenance Leisure Walk

Let's take a walk on Appalachian Trail from Fort Franklin Road to Tri County Corner. This is a great maintenance hike for Beginners. We will leisurely walk along the trail removing branches, weeds, blow downs, and picking up trash to keep the trail nice and clean for all hikers to enjoy hiking the trail. Bring gloves, hand tools (pruners, clippers), water and lunch / snacks. We will stop at AHC Shelter, Tri County Corner, spring (blue trail) (yellow trail). You will learn what it takes to be a Maintainer, and eventually adopt a section of the AHC Appalachian Trail.
