Walk on the Lowline Rail Trail + Camping
Bring brunch money. Really interesting hike!
The primary plan is to go to Intercourse, PA Fire company for breakfast on Sat. Then go to Glen Brendles' Farm for a 1/2 hour tour. (He's a "well-oiled" machine according to GRIT Magazine in the Sept '16 issue). Then walk the "Low Line Rail Trail" to Rte.41 and back to Mt. Vernon Road.

We can either camp at Hibernia County park which is 15-20 minutes N.E. (Coatesville). (I always carry an extra pup tent in case I end up in the doghouse....again!) If camping is not your style, you can stay at the Olde Stone Guest House near Coatesville (Bed & Breakfasts of the Brandywine Valley,
On Sunday morning we'll go to the Gap Diner along Rte 30 and hike the "Lowline Railtrail" from Rte 41 to Rte 896 and back. This will be a bit longer than Saturday's walk.

You MUST contact the leaders for this hike as it entails carpooling and camping and/or guest house arrangements.
