Loop hike through the Bear Creek Preserve

A moderate hike with varied terrain and foliage, two waterfall views, several bridge crossings, and a scenic and shady trail along Shades Creek. There is no significant elevation gain. Be alert to the possibility of black bears and rattlesnakes that call this preserve home. Hiking boots recommended. Hiking poles suggested. Bring 2 liters of water plus lunch and snacks.
