We'll be hiking from the Fort Franklin Rd parking lot to about ½ mile south of Allentown Shelter (and back) clearing blowdowns identified by our ridge runner. I will be looking for help carrying the chainsaw, associated supplies, and safety equipment, as well as removing bucked logs from the trail. For safety reasons, please wear sturdy boots, sunglasses/safety glasses, and leather gloves. Clippers and/or small hand saws are also welcome. Bring water and lunch. No pets. Rain cancels.
