Hike the AT to rocks on the east (northbound) side of the Lehigh gap. We will wait until sunset and enjoy the fireworks in the Lehigh valley from this great vantage point. After they finish we will hike the blue trail back down to the parking lot.

Meeting place: The AT parking lot on the east side of the Lehigh gap. The entrance to the parking lot is a dirt road about 100 yards uphill on rt 248 from the traffic light at rt 145. Beware it is a sharp left turn going uphill.
