This hike will incorporate most of the Fireman and Elk Viewing Trails as well as a small bit of the Border Trail. We will have several relatively short inclines/declines but the trail is mostly packed dirt. This route will take us along the Jordan Creek for a bit and we may get a glimpse of the bison and elk herds. Be prepared for muddy conditions in spots if there has been recent precipitation. Wear hiking shoes with good traction and poles or a hiking stick may be helpful. Rain or snow cancels hike.
