Details: We’ll be hiking the challenging Border Trail loop at Trexler Nature Preserve, which features rolling hills, steep climbs, long switchbacks, open fields, and a stream crossing. Rated HARD by the preserve, this is not a beginner’s hike and requires good physical condition. Be sure to bring at least 2 liters of water, snacks or lunch, sunscreen, bug spray, and wear sturdy hiking boots. Trekking poles are highly recommended. The hike will be canceled in case of heavy rain or thunderstorms.
