Lock 2 Maintenance

We cleared the capstones on the land side of the lock. The interior and river side of the lock are looking good. The access trail to the lock only needed a little lopping. We cleared the trail to the Coalport Weigh Lock (about 1/2 mile), which needed more lopping and had some leaners and branches to clear. We did not have time to do any maintenance at this lock. The capstones need to be cleared, but otherwise the lock looked in decent shape. Hopefully, we can tackle this this spring. Thank you to our volunteers: Wayne Bruch, Barbara and Doug Fogal, Rosanne Harakul, Susan Norling, and Barb Wiemann.
