Hike the Cliff Trail with visits to Raymondskill Falls and Milford Knob (10-11 miles)Loop hike, including tallest waterfall in PA
This is a 9-10 mile loop hike that will start with a 400' climb from the trailhead up to the beautiful view from Milford Knob. We will continue along wooded trails to Hackers Falls and then Raymondskill Falls, the tallest waterfall in PA, where we will stop for lunch. We will then climb and continue along the bluffs before descending back to the trailhead. Steady rain or thunderstorms will cancel. Bring at least 2L of water plus lunch and snacks. |

It's that time again for our annual picnic. The club will provide hot dogs and drinks. We ask our members to bring a favorite dish to share with the group.
DIRECTIONS: I-78 to the Lehigh Street exit then north on Lehigh Street. Turn right at the 1st light onto Downyflake Lane. Then turn right onto S. 12th Street. At the light, turn left onto W Emmaus Avenue. Then turn right, before the Eastern Salisbury Fire and Rescue, onto Honeysuckle Road. Then bear left onto Black River Road. Fireworks hikeHike the AT to rocks on the east (northbound) side of the Lehigh gap. We will wait until sunset and enjoy the fireworks in the Lehigh valley from this great vantage point. After they finish we will hike the blue trail back down to the parking lot.

Evening hike and paddle at Leaser LakeLoop hike around Leaser Lake followed by a sunset paddle
Bring adequate hydration and a snack, sunscreen and bug spray.
We will meet at the Pleasure Court boat launch parking area for a 4 mile trek around the lake. The trail is relatively flat, although occasionally muddy in spots if there has been recent rain. There are typically one or two small water crossings as well.
after the hike, those interested can bring their kayak, canoe, or paddleboard and get on the water for the evening sunset.

Allentown Urban Greenway and Bach at Noon ConcertWalk the city's urban greenway and enjoy a Bach concert
We will meet at Trout Hall at the corner of 4th and Walnut St. in Allentown and follow the route of the marked Allentown Urban Greenway along Martin Luther King Parkway, Lehigh St. , Walnut St. and Hamilton St. In downtown Allentown we can see some of the sites associated with the Revolutionary period. We will end at St. John's Lutheran Church on S. 5th St at 11:50 am to attend the concert, which will feature music related to American and Moravian history. The concert is free, but donations are appreciated. Bring water and snacks. This route is on paved surfaces with little shade; if the expected temperature is above 90 degrees or it is raining, the hike portion will be canceled and people can meet at the church at 11:50 am. |

It's a great opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains. Lots of rocks. 1.7 miles of up hill. No facilities.
Bring lots of water, snacks/lunch, Sturdy footwear, and tick protocols required. The hike will be canceled in the event of rain
Point to point hike. If you can help with the shuttle let me know. We will meet at smith gap parking at Smith Gap View rd, Point Phillips rd, Smith Gap Ter intersection 40.82553, -75.41432. Then I will drive to the start. Will need someone to drive me back to my car.
Optional extra .25 mile to look out. I need to drive to state game parking on Blue Mountain drive (GPS Coordinates: 40.8055,-75.5342)
